I love the way these books are reinforcing the phrases we are already teaching in our childcare centres.

The children are so responsive to these books. I've never seen kids take to a book so quickly.

The tunes are so catchy. I've only heard the songs once and I can still hear them playing in my head

Just a quick thank-you for your book Kei te Peke Ahau. I wondered if it might be confusing to the children, having the picture of the animal on the following page to the action but the children seemed to get the jist of it. I think the song is very well done and when I put it on today after playing it earlier to the children, they immediately pricked up their ears - so I knew that they'd hooked in to the tune. It's great.

I love these books! The pictures are beautiful.

They look very inviting and certainly not too daunting for those with very wobbly te reo skills working with young children. Will be a big hit with children’s librarians!

The Maori language books in our school are kept in a cupboard because the teachers don't know how to use them. These ones are really practical and easy to use. They won't end up in the cupboard at all!

Within 15 minutes, my friend's 4 year old girl was singing along in tune and knew all of the words.

The kids love sitting in the bath together and singing these songs.

My boy Sione loves it! He likes to read it because they have it at daycare, so he pretty much knows it off by heart.
